It is a weird story...

My career in real estate started somewhat randomly. It wasn't something I was looking for. I had just left my position as an Operations Manager of a large merchandising company to be home more, I was traveling 3 months out of the year and with two kids at home, that wasn't working for me. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do but my skill set and background allowed me the flexibility to apply my knowledge to just about any industry. Logistics, operations management, sales, systems development, graphic design, artist management, public relations... I've been able to lead a very interesting life professionally.

I decided to keep an open mind and approach every opportunity fresh, without judgment or any concern for what the job ceiling was. I learned long ago that upward mobility can be whatever you want it to be, but you have to start at the bottom and learn. On a whim I answered a want ad for a real estate team looking for inside sales. I was asked to come in and interview and before I left I was offered a job, not doing inside sales but managing their team.

After I had time to settle in and understand how things work, I found real estate to be rewarding personally and professionally. I love my agents, a few have become some of my closest friends. I enjoy helping people make life changing moves (literally), while I don't find the house or help them sell theirs, I do assist in calming overwhelmed buyers and sellers and creating solutions to issues that arise. Every day presents a new problem to solve, It is never stagnant or boring, there is always something new to learn or a new situation you haven't been in.

I'm a resident of Lakeland, FL and when I'm not working, you'll find me at little league baseball games, collecting/listening to vinyl records, or creating art (visual and musical).

Frequently Asked Questions

What if It Doesn’t Close?

This is the most common question I get asked. It’s easy enough to answer. If it doesn’t close, you don’t pay me anything. It isn’t an ideal situation for either of us to work and get nothing for it, but it happens. I wouldn’t feel right taking money if you aren’t getting paid.

How Do I Know My Clients Are Safe?

You can rest assured that I’m not interested in poaching your clients. Yes, I carry an active real estate license, but it is only to perform the best job possible within my role. I have been doing this for years, trusted by the highest producing agents in our market. You don't get to reach that level of business by lying or stealing information. I also am more than happy to sign an NDA if you'd like.

Will You Work With Any Agent?

Unfortunately no. The chemistry and personalities have to work and there has to be an understanding between us of expectations. If the fit isn't right then it isn't a recipe for success.

Do I Have to Use You on All Deals?

If we choose to work together, the short answer is yes. The way pricing is structured, I know I'm going to work harder for less money on some transactions, yet other transactions will be quick and easy and will be a fast pay day. I take the good with the bad, just like you do. I try hard to be as fair as possible and I expect the same in kind. Just because it's a new build and it's easy doesn't mean I shouldn't be included because there are other times I work really hard and a deal dies. You win, I win, that's how all this works.

Why Aren’t You Selling Houses?

Just because I “can” doesn’t mean I want to. When I first obtained my license, I tried helping a few friends but it just isn’t for me. I’d rather be behind the scenes making sure everything works. I don’t have that outgoing personality of a successful agent.

How Many Agents Do You Have?

The correct answer to that question is no more than I feel I can appropriately service. My agent count fluctuates as clients change brokerages, leave teams, or join teams. But I don’t ever take on work I don’t feel I can do. I don't cap my agents at a certain number, some take less work than others. I know my limitations, so if I don't have a space for your currently, I will make sure you're notified as soon as one opens up.

How Do You Manage All This?

I worked with a development team out of Idaho to create a system that integrates with Dotloop and also has the ability to standardize emails for consistent and correct formatting. This combined with a few other custom systems is the backbone of it all. There's several other services and technical components used for additional coverage (Adobe Creative Cloud, CRM/Database, Social Services, Google Drive/Workspace, etc.)

If You Can Do All This, Why Not Make More Elsewhere?

I love what I do, I love who I work with. I've been offered other positions and I've turned them down because I truly appreciate the relationships I develop with my agents. Working primarily from the office, I'm given the flexibility to take care of work, be available for my family, and meet my financial obligations. I don't want to disrupt that balance that I've created.

The ultimate goal is a smooth process and an easy partnership.
